- Navigation accidents (including general average, collisions, groundings, shipwrecks and fires), experienced in acting before Port Captaincies, Admiralty and Judicial Courts
- Cargo claims (particular average)
- Environmental damages arising from the activities of sea carriage and port operations
- Indemnifications resulting from accidents involving crewmembers and port workers (personal injuries)
- Collection of debts and recovery of maritime claims (demurrage related to ship chartering and containers, detention, freight and others)
- Arrest and embargo of vessels
- Preparation, review and analysis of warehousing contracts, carriage contracts, charter parties, contracts of affreightment, agency agreements and bills of lading
- Recognition and enforcement of foreign decisions
- Legal advice before the regulatory agencies (Infrastructure Ministry, DNIT department, ANTAQ agency, the Merchant Marine Department and other intervening authorities)
- Analyses and opinions on maritime legislation, international conventions, and respective application
